Who is Ingress Online

Hi I'm Trish Gorring a corporate cubicle expat and founded Ingress Online in 2006.  

Working for large corporations, I became removed from the coalface of web site design and development and needed to get back to basics and make quality, simple, clean web sites that work. 

I have more than 11 years' commercial web site design/development experience in Australia and the UK and have been involved in the delivery of some of the largest and most popular high profile web sites in the world. 

Ingress Online does NOT outsource to overseas developers and does not use OpenSource software, I build all my sites in Australia using software from a Melbourne based company.  It is not that I am supporting the Australian economy, I believe we have the best software and support and have chosen to use the best.

My passion is to demystify the web and make simple-to-use and easy-to-update websites so business owners can update their site themselves, saving them time and money by not having to wait for a technical person, giving them total control over their website content.

This means you save money by not having to pay a web developer to make content changes and reduce customer (internal & external) dissatisfaction and potential legal issues created by having incorrect information displayed on the site.

What makes me different, apart from the personal service, common sense and responsiveness to my clients, is that I always think about the user and how they can get the most out of each site. Sometimes the latest fashion on the Internet is not the best thing to put on your homepage.

I am dedicated to each project that is delivered and will put in the extra work to see the project complete, quickly and painlessly.  This last point I cannot stress enough.  I hear many of my clients mention how much easier it is to work with me rather that other developers because I take away the pain of developing websites. 

I truly make it easy for website owners to get the site they want and the power to update it themselves.

About the name
When brainstorming our company name we wanted something meaningful, something that was subtle and had a message that was aligned with our business goals.

We chose Ingress which means moving forward or creating an entrance or access. This simple yet quite obscure word defines our company well and reminds us to strive forward.

By choosing Ingress Online we give businesses the power to enter or access their online space by building web sites that focus on generating business online.
